Alamo Insiders - Self-service kiosks

I have a question: I got a great rental price through Hotwire.com with Alamo. I then joined alamo insiders, primarily to be able to check in at a kiosk, rather than stand in line. I'm having a hard time getting anyone on the phone to associate my car reservation with my insiders number. Any ideas? Once we arrive, can we still use a self-service kiosk to check in, even though the reservation was made through Hotwire.com?

Yep. even if you are not a member of the Insider you can use the service. We have done it and within 10 minutes you are done and ready to go pick out your car.

If you book through Hotwire or Priceline I think you can still use the Kiosk from what I hear but have not done so personally.

I don't know about booking through someone else but we've used the kiosk and we're not insider members.

Try the check-in online process and see if it allows it (many conditions will prevent it such as coupon use). If not, it will give you the option to "save time" and at the end of that process it will tell you to use the kiosks most likely so insider membership has nothing to do with it..
