I will be using SNA, where I've never been, for my August trip. Alamo's website for that location indicates that they do not have the skip-the-counter option. They do have online check-in, but going to the counter is still required. They also have kiosks.
It appears that the kiosk would be an improvement over online check-in, since unlike MCO, I would not be able to check in online and then go straight to the car. Are the kiosks reasonably reliable? I will be arriving late-ish, after 9:00 p.m., and would prefer the option that gets me to the car quickest. But it seems that sometimes these kiosks are either completely out of service or do not function correctly for whatever reason.
