alamo experiences

I was just wondering about experiences renting from MCO orlando. The price the quoted me was very good. Usually we go with the non national co at the airport ( the name slips my mind ) but their price was higher and it is a smaller minivan which is extremely cramped with luggage.
Have people had good experiences with pickup and delivery? Thanks

We used Alamo two years ago and had absolutely no problems. The car we rented was clean and ready when we got there. Check in line was very short when we went (mid May) and checkout was a breeze.

I have used Alamo a number of times at MCO (when they were offsite) and never had a problem with them, also, I have used them in Tampa and while I did encounter a very rude counter person, that was taken care of that very day and it was nothing to discourage me from using them again.

We have used Alamo twice (booked them via Priceline both times), and they were fine. The first time we arrived at midnight, at the same time as a planeload of overseas people who all seemed to have also booked through Alamo. But the counter was fully staffed so it wasn't too bad. The second time, it was morning and there was no line. The only thing I don't like about Alamo is that you have to wait in line twice...once at the counter, and then again to drive out of the garage. With Avis, it's the counter and then your outta there. But I can deal with the second line if the price is good.

Just returned Friday from a trip via tampa international. We used Alamo as that is what my friend booked. She went to the counter while i watched the kids at the great indoor play area ( a real plus!). When she finished at the counter we went out and got to take out pick of the mini vans, which was great. I am not sure if this is the way it is at MCO, but we had no problems at all. Price wise we paid 231. for 5 days.
