We will be arriving at WDW and doing a split stay between 2 resorts. I plan on renting a car via Alamo at the Car Care Center. Currently my pick up time is at 1000, what is everyone results with using Alamo there?

Also what do you think my best option is as to getting there? Uber/Minnie/Shuttle? We will be coming from the All Star Movie if that helps. After picking up the car the plan is to head to the water parks so we will have all that stuff with us for myself and 2 kids (teen/tween).

I would have rented from the airport but the kids voted and they feel like it is part of the tradition to take Disney Magical Express to start the vacation.....Otherwise they feel like they missed something and the vacation was not just right!

I have read so many mixed reviews online about them I thought I would check here. I did manage to get a good rate and a free upgrade on the site so that made me happy.... little pixie dust before the trip! Thank you again for all your help.

We had to use that location once when the car we picked up at the airport started to malfunction. We found the staff helpful and friendly. I would recommend either taking a taxi or Uber/Minnie Van from the resort to the CCC. It'll be the quickest.

The car care center will send a shuttle to pick you up at your resort.

Had no issue in Oct when I rented for a day. They sent a shuttle to pick me up and had one waiting to drive me back to FW. Quick and easy. Just make sure to call the CCC location a day or two ahead of time to arrange for the shuttle. Also the CCC has a gas station right then for filling up when returning the car depending on what option you choose for gas.

Thank you everyone for your quick replies! I think I will use the shuttle and save money from taking a uber/minnie van.

Keep in mind that the CCC is not open 24 hours and the shuttle only runs during the CCC operation hours, which I believe is 7a to 7p. So if you happen to drop it off when the CCC is closed you will need to uber back to where you are going.

IF you are renting from the Airport and dropping off at WDW then just be sure to compare the prices, I have a reservation via Costco for a week picking up from MCO, if I were to drop off at WDW it's an extra $300!! Definitely not worth it, but just something to bare in mind.

I am renting during normal operational hours but that is good to know as I had look at a possible late drop off. And I would have hated to be standing out there waiting for an Uber!

Thanks for the info. I am renting from the CCC from pick up to drop off!

Will they shuttle back to your resort after a rental return? And if so, do you have to arrange that in advance?
