For end of June, which codes can we use for discounts on Alamo?

Not a costco member .

Also, has anyone recently used Alamo? Were they that annoying with selling the insurance as rumour has it?

If you're going to pay using Visa, there's a Visa code and coupon here.

Mousesavers also has some codes and coupons. Most are good through mid-June.

I have found the best rate just signing in to my Insiders account, and then using the double upgrade coupon. $221 for 15 days for a Standard. Since Alamo doesn't have a standard aisle at MCO, I'll get a full size for that rate.

Use the kiosks to check in and you avoid the hard sell at the counter. Check in at the kiosk, go to the garage and select your vehicle from the appropriate row, and the only time you'll have to talk to a human is when you're at the exit booth.

I,,,,,,,m not so sure. I seem to remember that even though we recently used a kiosk in Orlando, the person who handed us the keys (and the person who gets you to check off that the car has no dings and etc) gives the long annoying sales pitch.

So insiders can't skip counter .. still must use kiosk? I am used to Budget Fast Break membership where you get car at garage and skip counter. My ressie for Alamo says to do counter. So what the benefit of insider club??

MY DH is an Alamo Insider, FWIW, and the last time we rented a vehicle from Alamo - last August from MCO - we signed the papers at the counter and did not have to listen to any spiel whatsoever. I made our ressie via their website and printed it out to show to the counter agent. When he mentioned the additional insurance, etc, I simply said we wanted what we reserved, and nothing more.We had our keys 5 minutes later and were on our way to pick out a vehicle. It was pretty simple and straightforward.
