Alamo Code Question and Self Check in

Hi All,

I got a fantastic rate from Alamo with a Mousesavers code...Mousesavers suggests printing out the offer and offers a link to do so, but the code is different on the coupon than on the rental receipt.

I copied and posted the offer:

Use your Visa card to save up to 20% and get $25 off when you rent a convertable, minivan or SUV for four or more days at Alamo. Valid for rentals picked up by 10/31/07. Blackout dates may apply. 24-hour advance reservation required. You must use a Visa card to pay for the rental car. I strongly suggest printing out the offer and taking it with you, since it's technically a coupon. Use ID# 7013310 and Coupon Code AD1462JOO. Thanks to Chris for info.

The coupon has a completely different contract ID and coupon code! Can I use it anyway? What about the self chexk in? What happens with coupons then?

I use Alamo all the time. If you want to give them a coupon you have to wait on line. That's why I joined their frequent renters club. I can't remember the name right now but you bypass the line and go directly across to the car rental desk in the parking lot. They will subtract the coupon from your bill but You must bring it with you or they will not accept it.

On my Alamo ressie the grand total is 108.00 with the coupon deducted. Do you mean that when I use the kiosk to pull up the reservation it will say I owe 133.00? (My coupon is for 25.00 off a SUV)

This doesn't seem to make sense.

Can I join to frequent renters club and apply it to my existing reservation? Or would I need to make a new ressie?
