Alamo and AP rates ?

I understand that Alamo has discounts for AP holders but I won't have my AP until I get to WDW. Can I still use the discount before I get my AP? How does that work?

Alamo has had some good rates lately. I'm just looking for the best codes/coupons/discounts available to me.

I've heard that some people make there car ressies and cancel them if they go down and re schedule to save lots of money. I'm not sure I have the stamina to keep up with that kind of thing, I just want a good rate from the beginning!

I am in the same boat. We will not have our APs until we arrive. Are the discount codes "universal" for anyone who is a Disney AP holder. The codes are not published on mousavers.com for some reason. Mousesavers says that they are "provided in your pass sleeve."

Might there be anyone that can post the rate code and / or ID - is that allowed on the boards for that matter?

If you will go to Alamo's website and sign up for their email offers you might be able to get one of the good rates they have now. We'll be there Dec 1-6 and I rented a full size car for $155 total. I believe they started at $102.
