Aladdin's final performance on January 10, 2016

I am so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're going in March and haven't seen. So now do I have to go to Broadway to see it?

For the love of all that is good in this world... ENOUGH FROZEN. I have never gone from liking a movie to hating it with every fiber of my being due to sheer overload until now. Frozen was a perfectly good movie, which Disney has ruined by exploiting it at every turn. It is sick.

I just stepped out to take care of an errand, and came back to see this news in my RSS feed. Instantly I came here to see what my DIS peeps were saying.

Aladdin is such a good show! It's not that I think there couldn't possibly be another good show somewhere down the road, but -- and please don't shoot me, Frozen fans -- I am tired of Frozen, and I am really tired of it being run into the ground in Hollywood Land.

What's next with the "good" news? First, no more pumpkin carvers at DLR. No more Halloween Carnival and no more Big Thunder Ranch. Then, no more Big Thunder Ranch BBQ. Next, no more fried green tomato sandwich and bumblebee cupcake. And now, no more Aladdin.

I mean, yes, there is a huge new land coming and it will be amazing, I'm sure, but still...

This frozen takeover is out of control. Not every person who visits and loves Disney is a 2 to 8 year-old girl!! I'm so glad i saw Aladdin one last time this summer.

We put off seeing Aladdin for years because for whatever reason, our mindset was so focused on not losing park time for "a show". Boy were we mistaken. We finally saw it a couple of months ago and absolutely loved it. I loved how the Genie's jokes made fun of current pop culture. We will definitely see it a few more times before the curtain closes. Amazing show.

Don't forget to add "no stuffed baked potatoes" to your list.

As the mother of a 4 year old girl who LOVES all things Frozen, I still think this sucks! The awesome 90's movies are already barely represented in DL/DCA. The Little Mermaid is all I can think of that will be left.
The Aladdin show is such an awesome show for Disney fans of ALL ages. Disney has really missed the mark on this one. We will definitely have to make sure we see it on our next trip.

Oh, that's right! I totally forgot!

This Aladdin thing is yet another thing to write in and complain about - https://disneyland.disney.go.com/help/email/.

Aladdin was supposed to be gone years ago -- and a Toy Story Musical was going to replace it -- but, presumably due to the backlash and wave of complaints, Aladdin stayed and the TS musical never happened.

ETA: Some people say that the Toy Story Musical didn't happen because it got bad reviews on the DCL, but others say it was due to backlash and complaints from the public. Maybe it was both things?

I'm so over frozen. :crazy2: Disney needs to stop shoving it down our throats. There has to be someone who is in charge saying it might be a good time to hit the brakes on elsa and olaf... At least Aladdin has some nostalgic draw for the "older" crowd to enjoy. Parents these days are so sick of frozen, the last thing they want to do is sit through ANOTHER version of the exact same movie they've been forced to watch 67,089,798 times. sheesh.

Really? That makes me sad, Aladdin is such a fantastic production!!! Definitely going to make sure to see it again one last time when we are there in a few weeks.

No more Bumblebee cupcakes???!!! I don't like all the changes one bit. BTMBBQ, Aladdin, Pumpkin Carvers, Halloween Carnival and Bumblebee cupcakes are worth TEN Star wars Lands and Frozen shows to me! Enough already, Disney!

I just announced the news to my family about the Aladdin show being replaced by Frozen, and there was a very loud, collective "Noooooooooo" I could hear echoing from several different rooms of the house. This is such sad news. Why limit the experiences at Disneyland to so few movies? I really think that is a mistake on Disney's part. I liked the movie Frozen, but at this point I am just over it. Sing a longs, meet and greets, parade appearances, songs in the fireworks and WOC...and now replacing the beloved Aladdin? Enough, already!

I'm MAD and SAD they're removing Aladdin. It's one of the best immersive shows I've seen! I will never ever forget when I threw a flying kiss at Aladdin when he was doing the parade in Agrabah just like in the movie and he threw one right back at me. Best day ever! Genie was hilarious!

Who's gonna do those kinds of jokes now, Olaf? If they're as corny as in the movie then nah. I have no love for Frozen, sorry. Overrated and underwhelming.

That's a shame. I'm glad we took the time to see Aladdin one more time when we were there in June. It's a really great show!!

WHAT???!!! I heard no more Green Tomato sandwich, but no BUMBLEBEE CUPCAKE???!! O.K. Now we riot.
