If we need to arrive early for good seats, it might be a good time to snack up the three kids while we wait. Can we take food in?

TIA.

P.

I know you can have food in line while you wait as the line is outdoors. I don't know about inside.

If you arrive early, you should have plenty of time to finish your snack before you enter the theater. We were not let into the theater until right before show time.

You will have to put food and drink away when you enter the theater.

Yes, as others have stated, most of your wait time will be outside. This would likely be the best time for the snacks. I did not see anyone eating inside, maybe just the occasional water bottle. (just saw the show last week)

I have never seen anyone being allowed to take food in, everything is pitched prior to entrance(at least the last time.)

They make an announcement about not eating or drinking in the theater once you are inside. Like others have said though, you usually have plenty of time to snack on something when waiting in the outside queue since it's good to arrive at least 20-30 minutes ahead of time. There are also lots of garbage cans along the queue for disposing of your snack trash. Be aware that there are no restrooms inside the theater, so don't give your kids a big sticky lollypop or cotton candy or something like that and expect to be able to wash them up inside before showtime.

Great. Thanks for all the responses. I didn't know if this theatre was a "nice" theatre, or more like the outdoor Beauty and the Beast situation at WDW.

As long as we're on the topic of Aladdin, how realistic is it to see the 6:20 Aladdin, then go back to DL and stake out a spot for the 9pm Fantasmic? Will I be too late to get a good spot on the grass for 6 of us? It seems like that might time out right unless I"m missing something.

Aladdin is about a 50 minute show. Then you have to exit the theater with the masses, hoof it out of DCA, wait in whatever line there is at Disneyland which shouldn't be bad but also probably not non-existent, then hoof it over to the Rivers of America. Best time I imagine you could do all that would put you there around 7:30. I'm used to being there at pretty busy times, and there's often not really all that much sitting room left on those days by 7:30. Some people start staking out their space as early as 5 PM, and the area fills in pretty well between 6 and 7 PM. Also, there's no grass, it's just cement or brickwork. You usually will still find areas to view the show from at around 7:30, but I wouldn't count on sitting or having all that much elbow room.

Quite realistic.

Sounds like it would be less hectic to see a 12:40 Aladdin right after a 10 am breakfast at Ariel's. ??
