If your trip is before May 1, 2009, you can only get Jambo because Kidani does not open until then. Also, only part of the the rooms at Kidani will be open from May to Sep 2009 when the rest of the rooms come on line and it is questionable whether any of the pool view standards there will be available before Sep 1. When reserving (for trips after May 1) you get to choose Jambo or Kidani and that choice of building will be guaranteed. The only way to be guaranteed a pool view is to get standard view at Jambo because all standards have view of pool there. At Kidani, you will be able to request pool view with standard view reservation but request will not be guaranteed and you could end up with road or grassy area view. As far as getting standard view at 7 months out, that is something that may or may not be difficult. When both buildings are done, about 80% of all rooms will be savanna view point cost and only about 10% of the rooms at Jambo are standard. At BWV, the lower point standard view rooms (about 20% of all rooms there) can be scarce most times of year at 7 months out. Whether that same pattern will exist at AKV is not yet known.
