We are planning a week and a half to two week trip to WDW. We have plenty of points, so we want to stay a Week at OKW in a 1br. Would it be worth it to spend a few nights at AKV in a preferred room, probably a studio.

Just asking some opinions.

We did a trip to AKV this February in a Savannah view room and really enjoyed it. I liked sitting on the balcony watching the animals while reading, etc.

The only think I would do is stay in the studio first and then move to the MUCH LARGER 1BR at OKW. I think it would be really hard to go the opposite way.

Enjoy your trip. I envy your 2 week stay. The longest I have been able to do so far is 9 days.

That is only on the Sunset Savanna. The Arusha and Uzima savannas will not be affected. I can't remember the dates -- possibly mid January to mid April?

We just did a split stay a BWV and AKV for 11 nights and It would so be worth it to get a few if not more nights in at AKV. This will be be our first choice from now on when tryin to move from our Home resort.

I'm not that familiar with AKV, but isn't the Sunset Savannah the only one that the villas could view? Or are there other savannahs you can see from there?

In Jambo House AKV occupies most of the 5th floor (except for the suites and some of the rooms facing the parking lot) and all of the 6th floor so it has all of the same views as the rest of AKL.
