AKV value 1 and 2 BRs--is the chair a sleeper?

No, room is too small. That's what makes it "value".

I realize the room is smaller and that is why it's 'value' but I thought I read a thread somewhere that the chair was indeed the sleeper chair but there was no room to open both the sleepr chair and the sofa. However, I cannot seem to find that thread (of course).

We would only need the pull-out option for one sleeper and I was just wondering if we could avoid pulling out the sofa and just pull out the chair.

The chair doesn't fit in the room so they have not put it in there. They are strict on the occupancy requirements of 4 in the 1 bedrooms with the value villas as well.

I remember that thread too. One of the first people to report on staying in a Value 1BR reported that it had a sleeper chair but that there wasn't room to open both the chair and the sofa. Since then, every report I've seen about the Value 1BR/2BRs has stated that the chair is not a sleeper chair.

I was just hoping to have that as an option since I remembered reading that they were in there but couldn't be opened at the same time as the sofa. Oh well...no big deal.

When we had the 1 bedroom value, I looked at the chair, and thought it may be a sleeper chair, but if it was, you could not open it.

Yes there is a chair in the value 1 br but it is not a sleeper chair. It can not be opened at the same time the couch is opened to a sleeper. That lack of space is why the rooms are classified as value.

Here is the thread where someone mentioned that there was a sleeper chair in their Value 1BR: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1664571 It's the only report like that I can remember so it may be that a sleeper chair was put in that room by mistake.

The members' website states the following for 1BRs and 2BR lockoffs at AKV:

•Sleeper chair in living room (except in Value Accommodations)

so officially, the Value 1BR/2BRs do not have a sleeper chair.
