AKV standard view

Hi. I will be making a reservation for a studio at Kidani in a standard view next week. My understanding is that you will get either a pool view or parking lot view. What should I request? I normally request close to lobby when we are in a savannah room and would like to do so again? Are there rooms that are close to the lobby with a pool view? Any recommendations on what to request would be great.

In Aug we had a standard view studio at Kidani. Our view was great! It was far from the lobby but we had a savannah view!! We could also see the pool area. It was a great location because we just took the elevator down to the parking area and we were at the pool! So convienent! I don't remember what section we were in but I had requested a room near the lobby. When we checked in and I asked where our room was I was at first disappointed it wasn't near the lobby. Then the CM told me she thought it was a Savannah view! So I quickly shut up! she made a quick call to confirm the view and we gladly took the room. I will go check if I can find the room #.

Pool view sounds like a good option. The pool is close to the lobby (in terms of Kidani's super-long halls). The bus stop is on the other (non-pool) side of the lobby and I don't think I would feel comfortable sitting on the balcony in view of the buses.

I'm sorry, I had studios on my mind because I'm trying to book one today!
We had a one bedroom standard view at Kidani. I just looked at my records and we were in the Rafiki section.

Wow! great view for standard points! I just don't want to look out over the buses!!

we just got back from Kidani on Dec 23 and had booked a standard view room but had a better view than parking lot or pool. it was essentially a small strip of the "pembe" savanna. we were in the 6th bldg from the lobby (775something).

Even though the strip of savanna was no more than a 20 yards wide (between the bldg and an access road) we actually saw a lot of animals, though not headliners like giraffes.

Had we booked a savanna view I would have been miffed at this room - as we booked standard we were pumped about the random gazelle or river hog.

maybe you could request a similar location along that pembe strip that doesn't seem to qualify as a full savanna view...

My aunt and cousin were in a studio for our last trip, and had an awesome view. Room 7731 (I think), and had a half pool, half savannah view
