AKV reservations...what did you get?????

No. She said they couldn't get the system to work for 2008 because the info isn't there so she wrote down my info and said either her manager would call me with the confirmation or she would call me herself if she heard any news.

I'm afraid now that my info is on a piece of paper somewhere, never to be seen again... I've never had problems with MS before today so I trusted her when she said they'd call me back.

Sweating Bullets here.....I have been in the wait cue for 1 hour and 5 minutes, it took 10 minutes just to get through. I need a good showering of pixie dust.

I've been on hold now for 1 hour 20 minutes. I called the 1-800 #. On another line I had DW call the 1-407#. The voice there said her wait time would be 8 minutes. So do they have a different queue for the toll-free number? I'm ticked!!!

We tried to call in exactly at 9. Guess what! Busy signal! I left for work after a bit and kept calling from my cell phone. Wife called me telling me that she got through and that it was a 15 minute wait. The dates we wanted weren't that popular so I figured that we had a shot. We did!

Finally got through at 24 after open and then was on hold for 20 min., but did get our studio for 10/7-10/12. Looks like I'll be celebrating with Jiko after the Race for the Taste!!

The only thing I'm not sure about is whether you need to own a Unit that is opening in July in order to use your AKV points to book prior to Sep 1st. (Units 41-45 are in the July 2007 phase, all other Units are in the Sep 2007 phase.)

I was thrown for a minute when my CM said she had to check to see if my unit was available for reservations for the time I was asking for (Nov). She checked and came back and said, "Okay, you're good for any time after Sept 1st."

Oh, no! After an hour and 10 minutes on hold with my cell phone, I used a land line to try and get through (while keeping the cell phone connection). Got into the cue right away with the landline and was told an 8 minute wait (we'll see), after 5 minutes of being on hold with both phones, my cell phone lost it's connection. Thank goodness I had already connected on the landline. Oh,my! I already have an operator on my landline. Yippee!!!!

I got on the phone right at 8 with the 407# NO WAIT! I could not book my Aug trip my points are not good until September

I did book November 28-December 2nd studio at AKV YEAH!

I did get to change my studio at SSR to a 1 bedroom at VWL for my August trip so I am SUPER EXCITED about that

At the time I called they could not book at 2008 rooms. There was a glitch in the system so I decided not to wait. I was happy to get November- my Birthday at AKV and Christmas party will be going on at the same time. WHOO HOO

I think there is a different que. I called both numbers and the 407 number picked up first but I got thru faster on the 800 number with less hold time.

If you are on hold with the 407 number, you may want to try to get a 2nd line going for the 800 number.

FYI- MS told me that on June 6th if you own at a different resort you can try to get AKV before September.

Sooooooo I can use my BCV pts but not my AKV for my August trip.
I am not going to try I am very happy with VWL (I have never stayed there before)

Very happy here! I got a studio for 2 nights in October and a one-bedroom for 4 nights in December. Now I'd better get some work done.

I was on the phone right at 8:59! Finally got in the cue and was worried I wouldn't get our dates...but there was a glitch in the system and NO reservations were being made in 2008!! I asked when it would be fixed and she said they were working on it...she said she'd hang on the line with me!! So we waited...and waited...and finally...it came through!! Garsh!! We got our dates! Feb 14-18! What a sweet valentines day!!

I'm staying on hold, too, but the CM took my phone # "just in case we get disconnected...".

Got my confirmation # for savanna studio, Jan. 26-Feb.1

My CM did the same but we never got disconnected except for when I accidentally pulled the headset out of my phone but that was my fault!

I got a 1BR SV for April '08 so I'm a happy camper today.

I feel your pain. I called MS twice and was told both times I could use my AKV pts for my August trip. Today was the first time someone told me I couldn't.

I am sad but I did manage to get VWL so I feel a bit better.

I was on hold almost 45 minutes until the '08 glitch was fixed but we got our 2 bedroom for April 3-5 right after our cruise.

I was on hold while they straightened things out, but I thought foresure I would be too late.
