AKV QUestion?

I am trying to find a nice hotel for our last night of our vacation.. All the value resorts are booked... I thought about the Animal Kingdom Lodge, but it is book also... But I checked the the AKV is available... I am not part of the Vacation club or anything so wasn't sure I could book the AKV, but seems like I can.... But how close is it to the AKL.... Does it have a bus to the parks? ANy infor would be great... I did try and search for information, but didn't find what I was looking for,, thanksQ!

it is part of the lodge - 5th and 6th floors!!!

you are in for a treat. Surprised that the CRo has villa to book. It is very popular and beautiful.

the studios are great! now there has been some complainting over on the DVC boards because there is not the storage in AKV that there is other DVC studios.

but they took a deluxe room and make it a studio.

they have the flat screen tv and all have a DVD unit too.

uses the same buses that AKL does - it is actually part of AKL - until the other building is up and running.

I think you will be nicely surprised.

They also have a kitchenette which is nice as well as a pull out couch rather than two beds. You will love it.

Don't book w/ Disney! Rent points. I am all for that. You can find someone willing to rent you the poins on the page dedicated to that under the DVC category on this board.

I'm staying at AKV (studio) next Oct for only 110.00 a night due to this great option.
