AKV Points - how many to stay a week

I recently bought 175pts at VWL and I am new at this stuff.

It is a bit more complicated with AKV because there are going to be four different views/categories each with a different point cost. If you are already a member, you can go to the members' site and the point chart for AKV is there now. How many contracts you have is irrelevant as point cost is the same regardless of whether you use points from multiple contracts. If by peak you mean mid-Feb through April, mid-June to mid-Aug and Thanksgiving (DVC's "Magic" season and not the "premier" Easter and Christmas weeks) then the following:

The four views from worst to best are Value (V), Standard (S), Savannah (SV), and Killamanjaro Club Concierge (C) which is not really a different view but apparently puts you on concierge service floor (a definite new direction for DVC)

Numbers for each view are given in order of points per night Sun-Thurs, points per night Fri-Sat, and weekly

Studio: V: 11, 21, 97; S: 12, 25, 110; SV: 15, 30, 135; C: 17, 35, 155

1BR: V: 21, 42, 189; S: 25, 50, 225; SV: 30, 59, 268; C: 35, 69, 313

2BR: V: 28, 58, 256; S: 31, 64, 283; SV: 40, 80, 360; C: 47, 94, 423

There will also be Grand Villas, all SV view (and apparently not concierge service): 81, 108, 621
