I am coming up on my 7 month mark in a few days for upcoming Feb stay. It will be just DH and I for 5 nites in a studio. I have a studio booked at OKW (home resort), but want to change. I will be trying for AKV value, AKV standard both at Jambo, or VWL. We may not have park tickets, since our AP's will expire in Oct after our Oct trip and not sure if I am going to purchase passes for Feb. SO, it may be a trip with no parks, we have a car and will be having relatives over for one day to see the resort and have dinner. Dinner will be at Cape May so we will drive there no matter what. Any help on where to stay. I have stayed at both before, except for value. I like OKW but would rather have a couch and a bed, especially since we plan on having more time in the room.

We own at VWL, and love it. It has always been very quiet IMO. I think just by the sheer nature of it being a smaller resort, it makes me believe VWL would be quiter. But I may be a bit biased;)

If I had to venture a guess, I'd guess that the value villas won't be available.

To me, nothing says peaceful better than Wilderness Lodge / VWL. And like jimmytammy above, I too am biased. But I do own at both, so I must be the expert, right? :)

Animal Kingdom is an awesome resort but if you want a laid back, quiet, IMO Villas at Wilderness Lodge or Old Key West are the best. Have a great vacation.:cool1::banana:
