AKV Mousekeeping type ?

I am staying at AKV Kidani in April, we are renting DVC point so I know that I will not get daily cleaning. We are staying 8 nights and I am wondering if I am correct when I say "we will get housekeeping on the 4th day and that it"? Any help here?

Also what if I need extra bedding etc... My 4 year old is still struggling staying dry at night and I am wondering what to do if he has an accident?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If staying 8 nights you get a full cleaning on the 4th day (you count the day of arrival to determine your fourth day) and a replacement of towels and taking out trash on 8th day. Bedding change can be requested if problem happens.

Did the owner send you a copy of the confirmation from DVC? If so, you'll find the cleaning dates there.

What size room? If 1 bedroom or larger, you will have a washer & dryer in the room.

Does anyone else recall seeing cleaning dates on their confirmation? Am I hallucinating?

I will be staying in a 2 bed villa so I will have a washer/drier. My little guy will be in pullups but just thinking worse case senario... especially with tired kids

I don't think it is on your confirmation... but I think the paperwork you receive when you check in has the cleaning info on it... Please correct me if I am wrong about this!!

You will get a full cleaning on day 4 (count your check in day as day1), and you will get an additional trash and towel on day 8. I might be reading your post wrong though. Are you checking out on day 8 or are you staying 8 nights? If 8 nights, then you will get the extra trash and towel. If you check out on day 8, you will only get trash and towel on day 4 and no full cleaning.

The stay I just had did NOT have the housekeeping dates on it, but the upcoming one I have for August DOES have T/T date on it.

So sometime between when I made those reservations, they must have started adding the housekeeping dates.

My DS was a leaker when he was still wearing pull ups and he is recently pull-up free at night, but accidents can still happen...I bring one of those 7$ vinyl mattress pads with me and a crib pee pad to put under him. Its MUCH easier to just change his PJs and toss the pee pad in the wash in the middle of the night than change the sheets!!!

Nah, they've had that on the confirmation for years. They must have skipped a few. My old confirmations from 1998 and 1999 have the cleaning dates on them.

Room requests (location, floor type thing I assume you mean) must be made to Member Services by the member. There isn't anywhere to do that on the online check in form anyway.
