AKV layout

I just made ressies at AKV for next April.. I wondered if the layout is like VWL and BC (away from the main resort) or like BWV (attached). Also, is there a discussion link you could give me so I can get more info on AKV.

At the moment the only units at AKV are in the AKL building, Jambo House, the new AKV building called Kidani Lodge wont be ready until 2009. Kidani Lodge will be seperate from Jambo House but not by a great margin.

As Claire said, you will be in the AKL building. The 5th and 6th floors have been converted from hotel rooms to AKV villas. The 6th floor is concierge, the Value, Standard View and Savanna View villas are on the 5th floor. There are lots of threads on AKV. Just page through the three DVC forums (Operations, Planning and Mousecellaneous) and you will find many AKV-related threads on the first couple of pages of each forum. Lots of good info out there, including some trip reports on the Mousecellaneous board from some of the first DISers to stay at AKV.
