AKV laundry room open yet?

Does anyone know if the laundry room for the Animal Kingdom villas has opened yet? Or if it isn't open yet when it is anticipated that it will open?

We used the AKL laundry room back in July when staying AKV and it seemed a million miles from our room. Our next trip is over NYE and I know it will be packed, so I really hope the new one is open by then!

The only laundry room that is open and I think the only one that is planned for Jambo is on the 5th floor Zebra trail. Depending on where your room is, it could be an awfully long walk.
