Continued...
After lunch at Sci-Fi, we headed over to TOT. I took a better picture of the hat when we passed it. Oh boy, look at how crowded it was, lol.
Tim actually went on. By the time we got back, it was only a 20 min wait.
We walked right on with the FP, which was a waist. There was really no wait, lol. I kept asking Tim if he would be okay to go on and he said yeah. He had taken a dramamine, so he was okay.
I was able to get a picture of my friends.... every time I go on, I take this shot.
Fun as always. Tim was okay, but that was the only time he went on with me. When we were walking off the ride, I noticed what looks like to me a hidden mickey. Something about these three gauges stand out to me. It's like they are more noticeable.
and this is one of my favorites.
After riding TOT, we decided to head back to the room to clean up for dinner. While I was walking down Hollywood Blvd, I noticed this really cute dress in the window. It was a black and white mickey dress with a pink band around the waist. I told Tim, "I have to have that dress." I did not go in the store to get it right then and there because I figured they would have it in Mouse Gear, and we were heading over to Epcot for dinner, so I figured I would just look there.
When I passed the movie theater window, I noticed the coins and thought that the 3 at the top looked like a hidden mickey.
YAY! Street performers. Whoever started that rumor over on the theme parks board about them not being around anymore obviously had no idea what they were talking about. They were all over the place.
LOL, Tim had gotten stopped by a person asking him to do a survey, lol. He always gets asked. He told them that we were leaving and he did not have time to do it. This was one that was going to take like 15 minutes.
As we walked to our bus stop, we noticed the Friendship Boat (I think that is what it is called). Another thing that Tim falls asleep in, lol.
The bus was right there when we got there, lol. I am telling you that we were so lucky with the buses, and there was nobody else on the bus, haha. When we got back to our room, our bags were there. Awesome. I unpacked while Tim passed out on the couch. I told him to nap for like an hour and that I was going to go down to the food court to fill up our mugs, walk around, and come back and take a shower.
I walked down to the pool area to go see the flamingos. I fell in love with them. There were some birds hanging out on the posts.
It had rained for like 5 minutes, so the flamingos were shaking the water off their bodies.
I thought that these were really cool. They are on the doors of the changing rooms by the pool.
for the women
and for the men
I finally made it to the food court to fill our cups and headed back to the room. Tim was still passed out, so I hopped in the shower. After I was done getting ready, I woke him up and we headed over to Epcot. Before we left, I wanted a picture of me on the balcony.
When we made it to Epcot, it was not that busy.
We stopped for photopass.. it is one of my favorite spots. This is not the photopass picture, though.
First stop was Club Cool! No we did not taste Beverly on our first visit during the trip... but we did later on in the trip, lol.
After Club Cool, we went over to Maelstrom, which was only a 20 min wait, but we waited only 10 minutes.
Fun as always. I pointed out to Tim the guy in one of the boats on the big mural who is wearing Mickey ears. Apparently he does not remember seeing it.
When we hit China, we stopped for some photopass pics that turned out really cute. I cannot wait to post the one. We had some fun with the hats though. They reminded me of Raiden from Mortal Kombat.
While Tim checked us into Beirgarten, I took a picture of the cuckoo clock going off and I noticed that this is from a scene in Pinocchio. Aww, I used to love the cuckoo clock scene in Pinocchio when I was little.
We only waited like 5 minutes and we were in!
We had a great seat with a great view of the show! I love when they play and the little kids come down to dance. It is so cute.
Sorry, I was bad and took no pictures. I just was not in the mood to take them. Sometimes I just like to enjoy my meal and not have to worry about taking a picture. The food was delicious as always, though. I love the potato leek soup, the pretzel rolls, mac and cheese, macaroni salad, and the chicken. All of it is so good.
After dinner, I made my way over to Italy to grab a glass of Rosa Regale!!
