I know it states rooms aren't usually ready for check in until around 4, but what are the odds that a room would be ready around noon on a Sunday in October? Oct 2 if it makes a difference. Thanks!

If it's a Studio, it's more likely to be ready early. If it's a 1, 2 or 3 BR, those aren't as likely to be ready early. One of the Bellhops told me this once. It's usually held true with my reservations.
I don't know if the studio post holds true. Mousekeeping is given a list daily of room check outs and rooms that need T&T. They tend to work from room to room going down the hall so the don't have to go back and forth.
We stayed in a standard studio in Jambo House last October. We received a text saying our room was ready around 11am. It will just depend on how full the resort is and how quickly the prior guest vacates the room and they can turn it over. FWIW, we did complete online check-in and opted to have a room ready when we arrive over a room that meets requests (we had none).
