AKL take cash as payment?

We are staying at AKL in April and I received this email last month:

In the spirit of continually enhancing the Guest experience, we would like to inform you of an update to the payment policy at our Resort. During your stay, all purchases and services made at Jambo House will be handled with convenient, cash-free options. The Resort will accept MagicBands for charges to your room account, credit cards, debit cards, Disney Gift Cards, Disney Rewards Redemption Cards and contactless payments, such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay. A cash deposit or credit card may be provided at check-in to activate room charging privileges as needed. Bell Services, Valet, Bartenders and Servers can continue to be recognized for their excellent service with cash gratuities per your discretion.

We were there at the end of February while the test was going on, and they still took cash. It didn't seem like it was being enforced too much.

I was about the say the same thing. While we haven't stayed there we have stopped in and seems there is zero enforcement of their test. So yeah, not much of a test
