AKL room service

has anyone used the AKL room service for breakfast? would be nice to have breakfast while looking at the savanna. thanks for your help

I didn't use it for breakfast, but one day during our stay there in January, my 2 year old had had enough. She had a meltdown grande at AK so I told my DH and DSD to go on without me while I took her back to the room. When we got back to AKL, I wanted to go to Mara, but DD kept asking for the room, so to the room we went and I ordered room service. It was fast, reasonably edible and not too expensive (of course I'm used to New York City and Washington DC prices). It was great fun eating and watching the animals on the savannah. DD calmed down, ate, had a good nap and was soon back to her normal self.

We used it. They were prompt and the food wasn't bad.

When we stayed there 2 years ago, I would get up and dressed and then go to Mara and get the whole family breakfast and bring it back to the room. It was very easy and much less expensive than room service. They have trays that you can put all of the food on. The only problem was opening doors, but someone was always coming out of the door and would hold it open for me.

AKL has great room service breakfast! I love their bacon, pancakes, and french toast. MY DH likes the eggs. Enjoy!
