AKL room request help

I tried to do a seach but I guess its not working. Can anyone tell me a good area, savannah view to be in? Would like to be near pool also, but the animals are the main thing. What are the smoking rooms in this hotel?

I can't tell you about all the smoking rooms, but I know there is a large section of them on the 4th floor, at the end of zebra trail, the little wing off to the right. numbers 4542-4566. We were in 4565, which faces out off the very end, and loved it! It seems far but it's not too bad.

We saw a ton of animals, including 3 giraffes that were almost always around. But Arusha savannah was closed when we were there, and I don't know if that's normal.

The other thing we liked about it is that you can't see into any other rooms. It felt more private than another room we looked at. You just have to learn to ignore the video cameras!

All the savanaha standard view smoking rooms at AKL are located at the end of the bulding. I beleive they start at the last elevator and go back to the end. Sorry I don't know the room numbers but if you look at a map you should be able to fine them. We stayed on the 4th floor also and it was the second room on the left after the elevator and small sitting area and actually looked out onto two different savanahas. The sunset and kudo I beleive and the view was great. We never minded the walks since there is so much to see plus the elevators to the pool and restrauants are close to the end on the zebra trail and take you right down without going to the lobby which saves you steps there.
