AKL ressie ?

We have added a day onto the end of our trip. So, we thought we would change resorts and try AKL. When I called I told the CM that I wanted a Deluxe Savannah view room and would like concierge. There are 5 of us so I need the deluxe. She told me all the deluxe rooms are concierge, but I know this isn't true. My question is what should my confirmation state. Has anyone booked a room like this and recall what the confirmation said? Mine just say deluxe savannah view. Not that it's a big deal it's only one night just thought we'd check it out.

My confirmation from October 2003 says "CONCIERGE" under "Room View". I think you probably do NOT have a reservation for concierge if yours says "Deluxe Savannah". In one of my guidebooks, it gives 5 categories of room: 1) Standard view, 2) Standard water/pool view, 3) Standard savanna view, 4) Deluxe savanna view and 5) Concierge. I think you should call back and ask for a concierge room. Once you get into the number of guests they'll assign the "deluxe" part. I had concierge but my room only slept 4 ~ Had 2 queens and no day bed. The room was "deluxe" but only slept 4. All concierge rooms are deluxe but not all deluxe are concierge, as you already know. Good luck getting it switched. Oh, and the price will be $80-$95 more for concierge than just "Deluxe savanna view".
