AKL questions

We are booked for AKL in April and are very excited! I do have a few questions....

In many pics I have seen what looks like a big fire pit outside w/chairs around it. Do they light this at night and does anything go on there?

What do they have for a quick service "food court" area for snacks, morning coffee, etc?? thanks.

I have looked through all the pics and didn't see any, maybe I just didn't know what I was looking at. If anyone has any, that would be great!

What is the bathroom setup? I have seen two different things in the pics. We have 2 dbl beds, poolview. Will this have the 2 sinks seperate from the toilet/shower or 1 sink all in the bathroom? Either way works for us, just curious...

we stayed at AKL a few years back, and they did light the firepit every night. They had storytelling around the firepit for the little ones--it was very cute! As for quick service restaurant at AKL they have Mara which is cafeteria style dining for breakfast lunch and dinner. I would post a link to the menu from allears.net, but this silly site doesn't let me until I have 10 posts

we had a savannah view room with two queen beds. The bathroom/vanity set-up was two double sinks and a large countertop area that was separate from the toilet/bathtub area. I liked this a lot for trying to get all 4 of us ready and out the door in the morning.

They are identical. we just stayed in a pool view room this month and the rooms were the same as sav. view.
we really enjoyed AKL, it was quite relaxing.
By the way, The Mara is quite good. They have some different items there than just the "staples". we liked it alot

The setup is the same in all the rooms. The Deluxe rooms on Concierge Level and the Suites may be different though.

BTW... you'll have two Queen Sized Beds, not doubles. All the Deluxe resorts have Queen Sized Beds which is part of their appeal.
