If you want a view of the savannah to see the animals, what view do you request? Plus does anyone have any idea what it would cost per night?

Savannah view is extra, but I can't remember how much. It is listed as a choice on the websites, standard view, pool view or savannah view.

I went to the WDW website, looks like it's an extra 62 dollars a night.

i'm no good at remembering prices (how convenient! LOL!) but i believe to get a view of the animals, you need to request (and pay for) savannah view... although i have heard some tales of being upgraded upon check-in... good luck!

There is a view called savannah that will let you see the savannahs from your balcony.

To see 2005 rack rates (full price - no discounts), there is a table under the resorts area:

You may be able to get a AAA discount or AP discount. Read some of the threads under the Codes boards for more details. I've been lucky and never had to pay rack rate the few times I've gone.

Good luck. We stayed at the AKL in Feb 05 and loved it. Make sure to allocate some time to spend their exploring and enjoying the resort.
