AKL Question!

We are trying to decide where we should stay this upcoming summer and we are leaning towards AKL ... But my question is ... Is it a hassle to get to the parks because it's to far away? And is the ride get annoying everyday traveling in a bus for 10 minutes?


I would just like your opionions on this!

We are staying there in a few days and are really looking forward to it. I have heard that the buses are great. You are not sharing with another resort so no other stops to make which should make the ride feel shorter. We have stayed at CSR which is close to AKL. That resort also has it's own buses. It seems like the rides were very short and sweet. It is also cool to see some areas that most tourist never see. You go by some resorts and golf courses that unless you were going there, you would never know that they were there.

True there is no monorail or boat service to anywhere, I think that the buses will do fine. Beside your at WDW, what is the rush? Sit back and relax and enjoy the scenery.

you may have spoiled yourself with all the GF stays! lol. just keep in mind that it will take longer on a bus than with the monorail!

We love AKL, and have no objections to the bus transportation, although I know you will read replies that state just the opposite if you search this board.

To us, the transportation was great. We have gotten spolied by the whole not sharing a bus with the other resorts thing. The ride to MK is a bit long, but no longer than if you took your own car, and you get "door to door" service. It's been our experience that the wait time for busses at AKL is less than that other resorts, but again, you may seen information posted that contradicts that as well.

For us, it is not an issue -- we love AKL - try it!

Everyone's right. Go AKL. You'll love the transportation. It's great to have your own bur...no other stops and close bus stops.
