akl question

i saw the akl hotel on the travel channel today, thanks so much for the info. however the lady hosting the show said that she booked concierge because it had the best savannah views, is this true?? any info would help im planning booking in the next 2 weeks.
by the way the resort looked so beautiful on tv. i cant wait to stay there.

When I stayed at AKL I stayed savannah view on the Zebra Tail, and had great views of the animals.

I have read the best views are on the lower floors. Concierge is on 5 & 6. Reports say the tree tops block some of the view.

There are some rooms on 5 that are not concierge. We were on 5 on Kudu Trail, Sunrise (or Sunset, I forget) Savannah and had an awesome view of giraffes all the time.

We just got back from 2nd floor, Zebra Trail, Arusha Savannah and honestly, I enjoyed the other view better -- there was a wider variety of animals (giraffe, zebra, wildebeasts and some others) on Arusha Savannah, but they were not always visible. On Sunrise (or Sunset, I forget, lol!) Savannah, there was less of a variety (giraffe, kudu, ostrich), but they were always right in front of our room.

I felt both 5th floor and 2nd floor had good views in my case. Nothing was blocked by trees in our rooms.
