AKL Question - Jambo House or Kidani Village

I booked AKL from November 19 - 23 with the bounceback offer. Will we be placed in Jambo House or Kidani Village. We didn't preference anything except booking the Savannah view. I'm trying to books our transportation through Mears Connect, and they need to know which area.

You pick which one when you book. If it is in your My Disney Experience it will tell you either Kidani or Jambo.

ETA: I am mistaken. If it says Animal Kingdom Lodge then it is Jambo. Kidani and Jambo are only specifically notated if booking in the DVC villas.

Your booking should indicate which location you're reserved at! If it's a cash room, it's likely Jambo House. But you should follow up with Disney about the specifics.

If all else fails just specify Jambo. Bell services can take you down to Kidani if it turns out wrong.

Is there an offical thread for AKL Kadani? We just booked a villa (cash) after Christmas, and would like to see more about the refurb, etc, and rooms affected.

There are several threads about Kidani and the refurb. Recommend you go to the Search field on this site and enter Kidani refurb. You'll have a few threads to choose from. In general, it looks like approximately half the Kidani resort has been closed for refurb (the half closest to Jambo House), and it began earlier this month. Hard to say if any of those rooms will be completed and reopened by late December, but it's possible.

I'm booked at that time in Kidani. If you are in Kidani it will say "Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village" in the app under your room reservation.
