AKL Mara

I have read that the Mara at AKL offers quick breakfasts. But do they offer baked and cooked goodies. We stayed at CS several years ago and they had fresh made waffles and of course I had to have them with butter, syrup, strawberries and whip cream. They were so good I had to have them everyday I was there. Do they offer something like this at the Mara? I have an almost 5 year old who doesn't eat much, but would eat, french toast, pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs and the like. Thanks. We leave in 9 days!!!! I can't wait. Our first trip with our DS.

We just returned from AKL on Sunday & ate breakfast at Mara once.

They did have cook to order Mickey Waffles (big ones not the small ones) with bacon or sausage to the side. I didn't order one so I don't know what types of toppings you could get.

They also had different kinds of Krispy Creme dounuts.

They had other baked goods, but they were not warm. Just your regular danishes & muffins.

As far as hot items, they had breakfast pizza, wraps, bagle sandwhiches,platters, oatmeal and a few others.

We'll be there Nov 15-20. I'll be the one with the husband who doesn't want anyone to know its his birthday (look for pins, banners, marching bands, etc etc. LOL)

tw1nsmom - we know Alplaus very well. Tired to buy a house there. Love Glencliff School - we play there a lot. Also our DS loves trains and we can often be found sitting at the train signal waiting for a train!
