Kimmar doesnt have flights yet though......I'm a little more than annoyed that the Jetblue website hasnt been updated in the last month... I still can't check flights past Oct25..

Hi there! This is my first time joining this group and I am so excited as I have finally secured a 1 bedroom Villa (Value priced) for my trip in November This will be my first trip to AKL/AKV, but somewhere in the area of trip 16/17 to WDW. I'm going back in an attempt to kind of catch up, I am super excited to be going as I have always wanted to stay at AKL!

Please don't flame me but I need to ask a question about accommodations: Is it safe to assume that a Kindani value room (1 or 2 bedroom)is basically a parking lot view and a standard view is of the pool? Follow up question… how hard is it to book either of these categories at the 7 month window for a week stay in late August?

I can thank our stay at AKL last October for pushing us into the DVC community.

Just to set the record straight..Kidani doesnt have any value accommodations, they are only at Jambo house... Not sure about all but we had a value studio and it faced the pool..Also my next door neighbor had a 1 br value and they had a Savannah view... i beilieve ostrich trail.

We are waiting for October/November on Jet Blue too. Jet Blue says they won't update until May.

Although, if the prices don't drop significantly from what we can look at right now, we may take the Auto Train!

I don't know about how easy it is to book the two categories specifically, but Kidani is far from sold out. I have been told it is relatively easy to book just about anything at the 7 month window. (I hope so because we have a friend booking us a 1BR Savanna view at 7 months next week!)

Agreed! We can take the Auto Train for under $800 and have our car with us if we want to use it. We usually don't usally drive, but with my husband's disabilities it is easier to use a town car service than ME. That is another $150 or so. Auto Train is looking better and better!
