This sounds great! The pictures I have seen so far look great!

I have been at my parents' house this weekend and my sister and I had to sort through lots of books and toys from our childhood. My parents will be moving to a smaller place in September and we will only be able to keep the most important things. While it was fun to see lots of things that we had totally forgotten about, it was also sad to part with so many...

Even thoughone of the things that I deciced that it had to go was my very first suitcase, I managed to pick up a new one :rotfl: The small shop in my parents' town had a sale going on and they had the one that I have been dreaming about for some time for about 60% of the original price:

Can you see that this bag just needs to see WDW??? :goodvibes

Yes, I hear it screaming "Take me to WDW, soon!!" :rotfl:

athenna - it will be here before you know it! :dance3:

TyRy - great pictures!! :thumbsup2

It's really quiet here! I hope everyone is ok?? :goodvibes

I am starting to think about my trip to WDW in early 2010. It is still quite some time away, but I am pretty sure that I will be back then. I guess I have to admit that I need my yearly WDW trip... :rolleyes1 I started to think about renting DVC points for the next trip. It appears to be much cheaper than booking through Disney. Has anyone of you ever done it or considered it? I am a bit nervous about it, but after having read on the DVC boards here a bit, it seems quite common and if you take certain safeguards, the risk is not too big.

I have done this at least 10 times, with good luck each and every time. It is usually cheaper than paying Disney their rack rate for a room in a Deluxe resort and the accommodations are equal or sometimes better for our situation on a trip. I am fortunate that I do have a friend with points she and her DH are not using a lot right now and can almost always rent from them, but if you rent from an owner with a good history you will have no trouble at all.

I know that most of you on here are not as old as I am ;) but maybe you can appreciate this as much as I did when I got it in my inbox from a much younger friend this morning. My DH and I celebrated our 35th anniversary last July, BTW...

Older Women

After being married for 35 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, 'Honey, 35 years ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 22-year-old gal.

Now I have a $500,000.00 home, a $45,000.00 car, nice big bed and plasma screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 60-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things.

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 22-year-old gal, and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve a mid-life crisis...

Hi everyone :wave2:

Sorry I've not been on here for a while. Been too busy planning like a WDW maniac!

October really needs to hurry up and get here!

PNO4TE Very funny :rotfl:

Although, kind of depressing too

Not depressing to me. I am totally amazed that after dating for 4 years, 36 years of marriage, 11 houses and 2 kids we can still stand the sight of one another! :rotfl2:
