Well...we're HERE.

Arrived at AS Music at around 4:30 PM. No pics or updates yet...but everything we've seen looks gorgeous. We'll be moving over to AKV on Saturday...and will get free internet then. I'll post more at that point, probably.

I did Candlelight Processional and Illuminations tonight and both were awesome! They added a section at the end to Illuminations for the holidays that was breathtaking.

It's not showing on yours? Weird. I can see it on my computer. Although now that I think of it, DH mentioned tonight that it he could see the bottom of someone else's siggie on our laptop, but not on our desktop. Hmmmmm.....

Yup, we're looking at August 19-26th if everything works out. Feels good to have a date in mind although 8 months 2weeks and 4 days seems awfully far away right now!! Need a stow away on your trip??????

Ah, it's probably my wee little laptop screen that is preventing me from seeing it.

I hope your 8 months will fly by quickly! Lots of time to plan and dream, which is always fun!

Brookelizabeth, we will be arriving on January 23, leaving again one week later (making the best use of the 7 for 4 offer). Is that the same time frame you will be down there? It would be fun to say hi in person!

Yep! We are going January 20-28. We will be at SSR - I'll post our touring plan once we have it figured out and we'll see if our paths will cross, or if we'll have to make 'em cross.

Pilferk, great deal on the gas right before your long trip! I'm glad to hear you have made it safely. I look forward to the pics and live report!

stepdisney, glad you got your computer working again! I would be a basket case without mine. And thank you for the congrats on DVC. We are sooooo excited about it!

Hi Everyone!
I've been MIA for at least a week...and came back to find myself frosted, ho-ho-ho'd, hit by snowballs and shiny...umm...balled? Anyway, thanks to all who sent cute little siggie decorations! Lots to catch up on...can't wait to see pictures from pilferk and Donald!

It's looking like I may be living vicariously through you all longer than I had hoped. DH and I got into a "conversation" (that's putting it nicely) about the 2009 trip I was planning. Most likely it's not going to happen. I'm not deleting my ticker yet...but apparently other "priorities" like painting our house need to come first. I guess I have some different priorities - and we don't quite agree on whose priorities to prioritize! To me, you have a small window of time to enjoy DW with your kids. They will only love Mickey Mouse for so long...ya know?

Anyway, no soup for me. But he is open to a trip in a couple of years, so we will get there eventually. I'm trying to be optimistic. If we wait longer, we will save up more money for the trip and hopefully stay at AKL! I'm even thinking of renting points to stay at Kidani Village. So it will be all good in the end...but for now I am bummed.

We arrived at the All Stars around 4:30. We had planned to just chill, eat in the food court, and settle in.

Until we heard Miley might be at MK on Friday. So we decided to get our AP's validated on thursday night, after we arrived. Figuring we were going to do a "fly by" of a theme park anyway, I had DW call the Dining Line and see if there were ANY in park ADR's available at all. They had one, for 6:05, at Coral Reef. This was at about 5:20. She took it

We packed up the kids, raced to the bus stop (because I couldn't face any more driving!), caught to bus to epcot, went to guest relations, validated our passes, and made it to Coral Reef....about 15 minutes late! They'd held our ADR, though..and seated us about 10 minutes later. Great dinner, kids LOVED the aquarium. Probably the best decision possible, because it kept our tired kids interested in the fish, and got us a good meal. After dinner, we headed OUT of the park, waited 20 minutes for a bus back to the All Stars, took another 25 to get back to AS Music (loading ECV's takes awhile) and realized JUST why we drive and bring our car.

Which is a very long winded way of saying: Yeah, we were in Epcot, too...sort of unexpectedly.

Oh, and one other quick update:

No Miley at MK today. Looks like we'll miss her, as she's there tomorrow, and we won't be. Ah well......DD will never know what she missed.

On the flip side, I may be on TV Christmas morning. We were in a crowd shot for Jose Feliciano (who did NOT tape at WDW..but that didn't stop them from filming US for the crowd shots).

I love Christmas time too! We put up our decorations last week, and each year I buy just a little bit more to decorate our house. I really enjoy browsing all the decorations at the store and then picking out a few to buy and admiring them in my house! I just can't buy TOO many because we hope to downsize in the near future!

Today we are going MEGA Christmas shopping. Gotta get most of the list taken care of, it's our only free Saturday between now and Christmas!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I really hope he either changes his mind, or it turns out to be a blessing because you will be able to plan an ULTIMATE trip. I'd keep the ticker too, just in case!

Whew! Busy evening! Glad it turned out nicely though - I have wanted to try CR just to see Henry's reaction to the fish tank. It's nice to hear too that it's a great entertainment tool as well!
