OK, so at first I thought your "news" was going to be something about a brother or sister for Henry!!

Then I see it's about adding another WDW trip!

I do believe you have joined the ranks of those of us who are obsessed with Disney!!

NOPE, no brother or sister! I keep thinking about "If we decide to have another baby, when would be a good time so I'm not uber-pregnant at Disney World" How do you plan a baby between trips??!??!

And me, obsessed? NAW! (joe is too! )

Thanks for the comments on our names! I actually picked my sister's name when I was three. I had a friend from Greece at nursery school called Katharina and loved that name. My parents agreed that it was a good name for the new baby!

.... since my middle DS had visited WDW [back in Feb] he has been getting emails from WDW...he told my DH about a recent one; he was offered a deal at AKL for $159/nite in Sept INCLUDING MEALS AND PH passes!! My DH is actually considering it!! ....hey, wait a sec - what am I getting so worked up??? He does this ALL THE TIME and then shoots me down at some future point.....

HOLY SMOKES THAT'S CHEAP! I want that code! I've never heard of anything that cheap, including meals and PH!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness. Price what that trip would cost normally, and then tell him how much the difference would be. This is like a chance in a lifetime! (and it's been two years since your last trip! )

Breakfast or dinner?

I love me some Boma Breakfast (buffet). It's absurdly good. However, dinner is also highly enjoyable....I'm just a breakfast person normally, so that is where my vote naturallly lands.

It's Dale. There's an easy way to remember (told to me by a CM who knows Chip & Dale personally ). Dale has the red nose, Chip has the black. Just remember "Chocolate Chip"!

Hi guys, I'm sorry I haven't been able to read the ENTIRE thread, and have a question.
We are planning to add one (sadly only one) night onto our stay in December and want to stay at AKL with a savannah view. This is because we won't be going to AK this trip. It's a short 4 day trip before a three day cruise.
I see listed a Deluxe savannah room and a regular/standard savannah room. Does anyone know what the difference is (besides price!) I was guessing location. Or is it the bunk beds?

We have a few years left before retirement too. In fact, I don't see myself EVER retiring... I love what I do!

My younger DD thinks her dad is just stringing me along and is really planning his retirement home to be in the mountains of Western PA where we grew up.

Ooooh, that sounds like a WONDERFUL vacation. I do believe the difference between the Deluxe Savannnah and the Regular is the size. Deluxe is larger.

Make your own Beaded Jewelry (Wed & Sat): Meet at Simba's Cubhouse to create your own beaded necklace or bracelet. For ages 13 and above. (paid activity; adult focused) 11:00am-1:00pm at Simba's Cubhouse.

Arts and Crafts (Sun, Mon & Thur): Join the Recreation Cast on the Uzima Springs Pool Deck near the arcade for arts and crafts. (paid activity) 11:00am-1:00pm at Uzima Pool Deck.

Ceramics Activity (Tues & Fri): Join us for the ceramics activity and create your own work of art. This is a paid craft and prices will vary. Pieces are picked up the following day. 11:00am-1:00pm at Simba's Cubhouse.

Culinary Tour: Join a cultural representative on a tour of our award-winning restaurants, Boma & Jiko, and discover the flavors of Africa. (adult focused) 4:00pm at the Boma Podium.

Music of the Savanna: Learn to play an African instrument and play your part in the circle of life. (bead activity) 5:00pm in Sunset Lounge.

Wildlife Games: Test your animal knowledge with our animal experts. (bead activity) 6:30pm in Sunset Lounge.
