torsie, I saw a link this week that answered the question about the pools. I'll see if I can find it. Anyway, the lead for DVC guides said that guests at Jambo and Kidani can use either pool.

...Thanks for asking! He's doing GREAT. He has a bit of a cough right now with this crazy Minnesota weather. It was in the 60s last week and now we are back to the 20s. But, otherwise, he's learning so many new words and learning how to do things! It's so fun to watch him grow and learn.

If it's any consolation our cat sleeps on the bed, and if we aren' up by 7.30 (her wake up time) she starts climbing all over us meowing.

I don't count her as such a bad alarm though.

The statement made me wonder though whether all AKL guests or only DVC guests staying at Jambo House will be able to use Kidani pool?? I guess we will find out in May!! I am sooooo much looking forward to pictures and reports from Kidani!!!

My question was about a feeding area on Kudu Trail. Somewhere I saw a post that said one advantage of that Trail was the feeding area. I always thought the feeding areas were scattered about the savannahs. There do seem to be a lot of little spots near the Sunset overlook though. Maybe that's what the poster meant?

Thanks...yes, that's the link. Since it's say all guests of AK Lodge and Villas I think it means guests of both the lodge and villas. The pool hopping part is telling DVCers staying at other resorts that AKL&V (both Kidani and Jambo) aren't available for pool hopping.

Well, I've only stayed on the Sunset Savannah. They had feeding areas in the trees for the giraffes that got them close to our windows for viewing (and I guess for the overlook as well ) -- so maybe they would on the other areas.
