The Best Burger on Property

Has anyone tried the Sanaa burger? It has been popping up a lot recently on social media and I don't recall seeing anyone post here about it? Heading down in a few weeks and I'm wondering if it's worth the trip over for it.
We eat at Sanaa almost every trip. But there are so many other good items on the menu, I can't imagine ordering a burger there. But for less adventurous eaters, having a solid burger on the menu is probably a good thing.

I haven't tried it personally, but I've heard good things about the burger at Victoria Falls Lounge (Jambo House). It's listed on the menu as a venison-beef blend. Next time we stay at AKL, I'm very tempted to schedule a meal at the lounge to try it.

Steakhouse 71 has a great Burger as well as Yachtsmen steakhouse....it sounds crazy but when in the MK we love Pecos Bills for afternoon burgers !!!

Agree on the Steakhouse 71 burger. I've had it at the bar several times and it is very good. Haven't tried the Yachtsman though. I don't go there often at all and when I do I usually go for the filet.

The burger at Victoria Falls Lounge is one of my favorites.

It all depends. I've had great burgers but when I go back again they aren't the same. Ale and Compass has an amazing burger, the first time I went at least. One of the top best burgers I've ever had. I've been back 3 or 4 times and it's just not the same, actually kind of sub par. I won't try it again. The Bision burger is real good, I've only had it once. The first Ale and Compass burger was better. The Boathouse Burger was real good, only had it once though. Nothing is consistent anymore. I've had a great burger in the ASMO food court lol, get it fresh off the grill. Throw on some ketchup and mayo and it's a 5. Here's how I see it now after eating nearly everywhere. I can go to the food court and pay $12 for a burger and have it be a 5. Or I can go to one of these "fancy" places and spend $23 on a burger and have it be a 6. What's the better choice :confused3

Probably one of the biggest barriers for a 'good' or 'great' burger vs something unforgettable to put in your mouth when you're hungry (most of the quick serve burgers) is not being able to cook to order. I LOVE burgers to be medium rare, red and juicy centers. So places that don't cook to order fall way down my list no matter how fresh or creative the toppings. And it's why even the simplest basic cheeseburger with no fancy toppings at a sit-down restaurant will usually exceed any fast or quick serve place for me. Even D Luxe - which offers SOME temperature requests (unfortunately they don't go below Medium but I have gotten a few medium medium rare, with a hint of red inside on some occasions) - is better than the quick serve stuff.

That said - I do still occasionally get a quick serve burger, because I just want something reasonably fast and with enough toppings it can be made serviceable...if you're lucky to get one fresh off the grill, that helps it a little.
