AKL June 18th-22nd Anyone???

We will be staying at the AKL Concierge from June 18th through the 22nd. Will anyone be there during that time? I would love to meet a fellow DIS'er. I will be wearing my lime green ribbon. Let me know if you will be there!

We'll be at the Poly on the nights of June 20-21, then moving to BWV 1BR for the next five nights. I'm bringing DGD8 of course and a girlfriend/coworker who's only been to WDW once on a day visit.....leaving DD at home this time. I'd love to meet you, let me know if you have "a plan!"

On the 20th we will be dropping DS off to UCF for his Orientation. We have no plans for the 21st. We were just going to hang around the AKL and enjoy the Spa and pool. Let me know what time you would like to meet and we could get together.

scottygirl - We are arriving early on the 18th and just hanging out at the pool and Concierge. Maybe we can pick a time and say hello on that day!

Our plans for the 18th are to go to MGM. I am planning the go early in the morning, come back to the pool for swimming after our PS at Sci-Fi at 1:00ish, can't remember the exact time. Maybe we can get together after lunch. Let me know what you think.

Deb & Bill - We did the Sunrise Safari already and we weren't planning on doing it again. This trip is really for our DS. He is going to UCF this Fall and we are attending Orientation on the 19th and 20th. The parents only have to be there in the morning sessions but he will be there all day both days. We decided to stay at the AKL since it is only 40 minutes from the College and then we added on days so it feels like a vacation!

We are going to relax and enjoy the resort this trip. We aren't even going into the Parks. We have a 2 week trip for Oct/Nov this year for the F & W Festival.

Mostly we will be hanging at the pool and Concierge. So if anyone wants to stop by and say hello....please do! At the pool I will wear my Lime Green Visor!

Looking forward to seeing some DIS people!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread! We may come to AKL and look you up on the 21st. I told my friend that I'd like to go visit AKL since I miss it so....and I'm constantly having dreams about the place.....a hippo was in my tub in the last dream!LOL I think we'll probably be going to MK early in the am then leaving around noon. Maybe we can catch the AKL bus, grab some lunch at Mara and find you & your lime green visor at the pool!

My family will be there June15-21. I can't wait. We got lucky and were relocated from POFQ to AKL. I'll have on my lime green.
