AKL in August questions

We will be in Orlando Aug 16-23 on a timeshare trade. We are taking the big kids(18 and20) for a requested Universal Studios trip. We are also travelling with 2 8 yr old girls(dd who has been to WDW and dn who has not). I thought it would be fun to take acouple of days to stay at AKL with the little girls and do a park or two. Would it be worth our while to do this? Will we see many animals on the savannah in the heat of the summer? Are there any codes left for that time in Aug?

Absolute, stay a nite or two at the AKL. All your family members will love it!

We stayed last August for 2 nites with my l8 and 20 yo's. I thought my 20 yo son would be bored (by the animals), but he loved it and wants to go back.

Also, the pool at night in the warm august eveings with the lights shining from the resorts is so beautiful.

From our room, we saw many animals eating moring and late aft/evening.
