AKL Flag Family?

I know at the WL that when you checkin, you can request to be the "Flag Family" and if a day is open, the CM "ranger" will take your family up to the roof of the WL to raise the 5 flags in the morning. Does anyone know if there is anything like that at AKL? Something small, private, and fun for a family to do to make the trip special. Releasing the rhinos, perhaps ?

wow thats interesting. if AKL does something like that i hope someone replies!!! i would love to know for my trip in october.....do any other resorts do "in the know" things like that????

We are staying at AKL concierge in March...I just sent an email to them asking them about this. I will post something here when I hear back from them.

That would be great...Thanks! I know about the Sunrise & Sunset Safaris that you do with a large group of guests, but we're looking for something special.

I just got an email for Don @ IPO...he siad they do not have anything like the Flag Family....sorry! That would have been fun.

No, but you could block the exit doors from the lobby when the shuttle bus is due to arrive on an early entry morning. Then, suddenly move out of the way and release the angry people!

I think I'd rather take my chances with the rhinos, thank you! Much safer!!
