AKL during Holidays

New DVC member here, just curious, does Kidani or Jambo decorate for the winter holidays similar to WL?

Ha - ya know, the first google image search I did pulled up more then a few photos. Sorry folks...I guess my question would be does Disney decorate AKL every year? Does it have that same Christmas spirit that WL has?

yes, we stayed there at xmas and it was beautiful. I would say very close to the nicest decorated resort for xmas! and they do it every year

Yes, all of the Disney resorts are decorated every year. We last stayed at AKL in December 2010 and it was beautiful. The WL is amazing during the holidays as the huge fireplace surrounded by rocking chairs is very cozy and welcoming, but I think AKL is great as well.

We were there at christmas time last year and the resort was lovely. We don't enjoy the location and travel to and from AKL, just our opinion. However, we really enjoy the resort itself and I think it felt extra special during the holidays.

yes.

kidani has a smaller lobby, though, so jambo house has the larger, more impressive tree.
