AKL Concierge is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

We have recently returned from an amazing trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge CL. We had room 5233 overlooking the Arusha Savannah.

We had the most magical trip! As this was a fairly short trip (5 nights) we didn't spent too much time at the parks and just spent a lot of time relaxing at the resort.

Firstly. I am soooooo glad we splurged for concierge! From the second we arrived everything fell into place marvellously. The CM's were some of the friendliest I have ever encountered. The lounge is amazing with coffee to die for. The views were magnificent, the lobby was stunning...Can you tell I just LOVED this resort!

By staying at the resort for a lot of time I really felt that spending the extra $$$ for concierge was well worth it. It was great to be able to pop into the lounge during the day for some drinks and snacks. Jiko was outstanding - the food was amazing.

We did the Sunrise Safari but couldn't justify the cost of the Sunset. However, the Sunrise was so good we will definitely give the sunset a try next time!

I know!!!! I thought it was soooo worth it too. Stayed there in April and my DH practically had to pry my fingers from the cappacino machine. I can still hear the lobby music in my head and I've been home for 4 months!!!!

I feel the same way about this place! So glad we did it at the end of our trip to really be able to relax and enjoy all this resort had to offer. I will tell you though, that the sunset safari is easily worth every penny. We had reservations about the cost (just didn't tell hubby, surprised him at check in) and eating with others--had wonderful conversation throughout and got lots of Disney tips, and food (DH is in the restaurant business and we can sometimes be "food snobs"--but this meal was fantastic and special touches throughout that you could only get by doing this safari. DEFINITELY book this next time. Gotta get back to planning our Dec trip now! hope this helps

LOL - I know the cappacino was truly delicious (plus, I'm just a little kid at heart - I loved using the machine )

Great to hear another fabulous review of the AKL CL!! I love it too and am looking forward to a return trip during the holidays. I daydream daily about the Lounge! We will do MVMCP and the Sunrise Safari but mostly I am looking forward to relaxing in the lounge, having the cap. machine at my beck and call and enjoying all the wonderful activities at the resort. Oh, yes, and admiring the Christmas decorations! Can't WAIT!
