My family and I are headed to AKL on June 5th. We have a Savannah view room, but the more I look at conceirge, the more I think it is worth the extra money. My travel agent was out of the office today (we booked through her), and she will be in tomorrow.

Is it even possible at this late date to get an upgrade to the conceirge level at AKL? Pardon for what might be a silly question, but I am really wanting to do this...

According to the Disney website, there does appear to be standard club rooms still available starting on June 5th. You didn't mention if you had room only or a package though. Sometimes it costs more to change a package when you're within the 45 day window, but they will usually waive the fee if you are actually looking to spend more money ;) . One thing to keep in mind though, as you have a savannah view room booked right now, the views on the club level cannot be guaranteed. Chances are that you will have a room overlooking the savannah, but I did want to point out it's only treated as a request on that level.

If you really, really want savannah view CL you might want to check first as to what rooms they are using right now for AKL CL guests. From reading the "AKL Construction" posts here on the DIS regarding the construction that is now going on at AKL, I know some posters previously said that the workers were now working on the 5th and 6th floor rooms in the main building (and 5th & 6th floor rooms are all closed) and that rooms for CL guests were now being assigned down on the 3rd and 4th floors (but the CL lounge was still upstairs) - I don't remember what they posted about views from those floors :confused3

I'm not sure of the status as of today, but before changing I just thought you might want to check that out first :goodvibes

Just ask if there are any rooms available when you check-in. You can pay the addition cost then, or you may be lucky and have it comped.;)
