AKL CL Room Request -- Help Appreciated

This is our first trip to WDW. We are staying CL AKL. We'd like to be close to the pool and be able to see animals. I know we'll be 4th floor overlooking the Arusha savanna.

Should I just request Zebra Trail and that we'd like to be close to the pool and main lobby? Other advice??

maybe close to an elevator so you don't end up at the end of a hallway?

Zebra Trail is huge, one side is the opposite of the pool, the other end is on the side with the pool; ask to be near the pool if possible.

In my experience, room requests are not always granted. There is no way to request this through the online system, you'd have to call ahead and have them add notes. Sometimes I think they don't even read the notes. Hopefully, because you are staying at CL, they will honor the request.

I was planning to make the request with the itinerary planner for club level. Hope that's proper.

Make your request to your IPL(club level planner) as they assign the rooms. We simply asked to be closest to the pool. We were on the zebra trail, about 1/2 way down.

Yes. That should work out perfectly, they should handle it for you.
