Need help ..... which view (s) are best? Travelling there over TDay break and want to make sure I give my kids a treat!

Thanks in advance.

most important is to get on 2nd or 3rd floor.
the lobby is actually on the 3rd floor. there is no 1st floor open to guests.
once you are on 4 or 5, you see alot of treetops.

we were on the arusha savanah, but on the 4th floor. we saw lots of animals, but they didn't come very close.

my best pix were from the 2nd floor outside stairwell on the sunset savanna.
Met someone who was on that floor , and said they woke up looking out a giraffe almost looking in.! there is a small fence very well hidden that keeps them from getting within about 15 feet..

arusha savanna is much prettier, but the animals are closer in sunset or uzima. all are good, and you can go explore the hotel looking for great spots to view animals. we gave each kid disposable zoom cameras, they loved going on a photo safari! Be sure to study the map they give you at check in. they will show you where the outdoor stairwells are at the end of the hote. There are alot of outdoor viewing areas. Most people go right to arusha rock, there are so many more...one we found had mounted binoculars for day viewing , and rocking chairs. I think this was down on 2nd floor.

Hi, we stayed 4th floor sunset savanna, kudu trail, last week and had a great view of the animals we saw..giraffe, gazelles, impala, the little pigs, ankole cattle and ostrich. We never once had to see treetops...it was very open. The animals all came quite close and were out there everyday at all times. The only animals we actullay had to seek out was the zebras...good thing we're giraffe fans. We were upgraded from standard to savanna but if I went again, I would gladly pay for our room. It wasn't that far of a walk to anything. Enjoy your trip!

right, on the sunset savanna the animals are much closer than the arusha.

If I could choose, I would pick sunset savanna. Unfortunately, it is a little harder to choose the savanna, a little easier to choose the floor. There aren't near the amount of trees to peer out over on the sunset.
But it isn't as pretty a savanah as the arusha. Just depends on what you want to look at. We had friends over on the sunset, so I got to see both views.

our room was 4327, and we did see a lot of tree tops. we did see plenty of giraffes and zebras, but they weren't as close as the sunset.

Either way, you'll have a great time, you can go to so many places to view the animals.
