AKL at Christmas

Recently bought at AKL- going for Christmas- has anyone ever stayed during this time? Do they do anything "special" for the holidays? Are there any special activities for kids, etc...

I think they had ornament making while we were down in December.
They had a huge tree in the lobby & some "Earth" colored decorations here & there. The entrance sign had 2 lit twig reindeer.
That's about all we saw

We stayed there for Christmas 2006, Dec 21-26. We had carolers one night, Mickey and Minnie in their Christmas best another, Santa, "Bell" Carolers another night (people ring out carols with bells), we saw children making crafts and they had a children's parade through the hotel. I thought the tree was magnificent!!
