AKL activities

I have heard that there are some evening activities at AKL such as a "parade" and a story reading time. We aren't staying at AKL, but will be there one night for dinner at Boma. Does anyone have the times for these activities or know of some other things the kids might enjoy doing before or after dinner?

The storytelling normally starts around 7:30 around the outside firepit. The parade immediately follows the storytelling.

Hi fellow Columbus, Ohioan We're staying at AKL and I was wondering about this. I heard also that there are night vision goggles for the kids to use to see the animals in the dark. Does anyone know if you can use those in your room? (we have a Savannah view)

Good questions!! We will be there in JUly with a Savanah view and would love to know about the goggles in the room.....

Oh my gosh we live outside Cleveland Ohio and will be at AKV on 9/24. Ohioians must know a good thing to all be going to AKL in Sept.

You will find CMs with night vision goggles on Arusha Rock and behind the swimming pool. The CMs let guests take turns using these goggles. Check the activities boards for the times.

We usually bring binoculars to use on our room balcony.
