Could you tell me all about Dinner at Akershus. We are thinking about going on our trip next April. There will be 3 adults and 2 children (2 & 4) all girls. So we thought it would be fun for the girls to eat here. Also if you have pictures could you share them. One of the adults doesn't eat fish and one is allergic to mushrooms so we are tyring to figure out if this is a good place to go. Thanks.

The atmosphere is very nice and the princesses are great, especially with little girls however I did not care for the dinner. The portions were very tiny and both my husband and I left feeling hungry. I had chicken and it was just ok. I believe my husband had fish that night. We actually stopped in the food court when we got back to our hotel to get another "dinner"

This year we did the breakfast at Akershus since I had my 3 yr old niece with me, and I liked that much better. I found the food very good and it was all you can eat brought to your table. It was very traditional eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoe casserole and they also had a buffet which had muffins, bagels, pastries and fruit.

Hope this helps :)

We really loved it, but we love fish so I can't tell you what other non-fish options there are on the menu. There were a bunch, though, but we didn't have them. I've seen good reviews of the ... beef tips I think?

Pcitures are in my September dining report.
