Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

We ate there last week and had a good time. My salmon was overcooked and really awful but the cold buffet was good, everyone else in the family enjoyed their food (especially the kids' pizza), and desserts are very good. You should go to www.allearsnet.com to see the specific menus.

The best thing is princesses. We saw Ariel (she's in the lobby), Aurora, Jasmine, Belle (in her blue dress), and Alice. It was good for my DD4 who got a kiss from Aurora, and Jasmine teased my boys quite a bit which was fun for them.

I don't know if I'd return just for the food because it's not the most exciting in Disney, but the princesses are now the draw.

Do they have a bar? There are several drinks on the menu that sound wonderful, and perfect for our night "drinking around the world"... WS that is... but we already have our dinner ADR for that night elsewhere... I stink at drinking, so I have to have a fruity drink that I can't taste the alcohol in... there are several on the menu that look like they may fit the bill...

TIA... :goodvibes

I agree, the cold table and the desserts are great. The entree is "so so". If you do not really care for the entree, then do not eat it. They bring you three great desserts to the table. The first time I went, I did not keep enough room for the desserts. We also went one time at breakfast and it was the usual breakfast foods. I recommend it; especially if you have a princess in the family.

Have fun. :thumbsup2
